Self-initiated project – Biweekly film posters – 2021
The third year of Double Bill Posters, a self-initiated film poster project in collaboration with Sarah Schrauwen. This time we’ll be focussing on notable directors, doing our very best to select a diverse group of well-known icons and new talent from across the globe. We’re creating two ‘double bills’ every month: two films from one director every two weeks.
Our initial idea is to create mini series of film posters that reflect each director’s style, either using the same design elements (fonts, colours, composition) or by using the same medium to create the design (illustrations, drawings, stills).
